Money Can Buy Happiness?

Everyone says that true happiness doesn't have a dollar value, but new research says money does bring glee…as long as you give it away.

Researchers at the University of British Columbia wanted to see if happiness could be correlated to the way people spend money as opposed to how they earn it. They noticed that when people donated money to charity, they felt happier than if they had bought something for themselves. People who spent their money on other family members and friends also felt happier at the end of the day.

So why not be happier today and go out to lunch with your sibling or buy some flowers for your mom? Also, you can check out Ariane's "Thing I Love" page. There, under Ariane's "Favorites," you can find some worthy causes such as ChangingthePresent.com and make a donation. Or go off and find your own favorite cause and do something good today.
