We're Totally Not BFF Anymore!

Do you still keep in touch the girl you used to share a tire swing when you were a kid? What about that guy you used to hang out with and talk about Star Wars in front of the 7-11 in middle school?

Chances are you’ve broken up with a few friends over your lifetime, and there will probably be more. Just because you’re not dating someone doesn’t mean your relationship can’t go stale. The cause can be anything from a lack of trust to a loss of mutual friends or interests.

If you find you’re reaching the point of no return with one of your best buds, it’s important that you maintain the kind of respect that you would in any kind of breakup. Don’t just disappear without an explanation, try not to place blame and try to leave an open line of communication. You never know when you’re going to want to sell that Luke Skywalker action figure.
