Canadians Do It in Private

If you’ve been stung by a nasty breakup, you might want to consider dating a Canadian the next time around.

A new poll has found that nearly half of Canadians chose to break up with their partner at a private residence. That’s right, those Cannuks don’t like nasty restaurant or birthday party breakups. The poll also found that one in ten Canadians still break the news with handwritten letters.

If you’re planning on ending a relationship, take a cue from north of the border. Breaking up in public is just plain unfair. The other person has absolutely no chance of expressing themselves without embarrassment.
