Penis Museum Grows (Ha!) in Popularity

When it comes to fertility, what better way to pay homage than to worship an image of an erect penis?

The ancient Greeks depicted Priapus, the god of livestock, fruit plants, gardens and male genitalia, with a giant permanently stiff member. Ancient Japanese erected (Sorry. We can't help it.) phallic shrines that still stand tall today, and the Norse of Scandinavia even had a folktale about worshiping a horse penis. So, it comes as no surprise that the Icelandic Phallological Museum is heating up the tundra in Husavik, Iceland.

Visitors to the museum can expect to see preserved penises from 90 different animal species, the largest being 154lbs and 5.58 ft. long and belonging to the Sperm Whale. The museum also contains a number of sculptures and cultural items. [AOL]
