"Ever since I subscribed to your site the daily reminders are the only thing I read apart from email and the NY Times headlines and weather. I am hugely critical of most self-help information, but this is not what your site is. I save 1 in 2 of these and have kept a library folder. They are intelligent, concise, relevant and are pitched at exactly the right level." -Martin Chalk, CEO, Balance Water

Question:Working out in the dark?

I like to run (I live near a park) but with winter coming on it doesn't seem safe to go for an early morning or post work jog alone in the dark...anybody have any experience with this, or any safety tips?

Answer:

I run every morning before sun-up, and it's very important to wear an LED arm band, a reflective vest, anything/everything you can find to make yourself more visible to traffic.

Answer:

Hmm I probably wouldn't do it, but then again I'm a young woman in New York City. Where do you live? Do you know of any incidents/bad things happening? Maybe you can find a running partner?
