"Ever since I subscribed to your site the daily reminders are the only thing I read apart from email and the NY Times headlines and weather. I am hugely critical of most self-help information, but this is not what your site is. I save 1 in 2 of these and have kept a library folder. They are intelligent, concise, relevant and are pitched at exactly the right level." -Martin Chalk, CEO, Balance Water

The End of the Affair

Couples are often susceptible to affairs when a major life change has occurred. Having a new job, or baby can throw your dynamic off, one partner may become less available and spur the other spouse to seek comfort elsewhere. But what if you are still committed to your spouse and want to end the affair? Ending an extra-marital affair can be as difficult as ending a marriage. So how do you do it? The American Chronicle suggests you keep it short, do it in public where you can avoid a scene, be honest and don’t allow your boy/girlfriend believe there's a chance you will reconsider. Above all, be kind. Then consider counseling to get your marriage back on track.
