Hillary Clinton: Now What?

Hillary Clinton: Now What?

A long democratic primary is finally coming to a close, but not so fast! Is Sen. Hillary Clinton going after the V.P. slot or what? Should she alter her dream of becoming President and go for second-in-charge, or is it time to bow out and return to her position as NY senator, pondering her next move out of the spotlight?

The Huffington Post reports that if Sen. Barack Obama were to ask Clinton to be his right-hand (wo)man, she would have to accept in the interest of unifying the fractured Democratic party. As two of the most non-traditional (read: not old, white males) viable, and relatively popular candidates in history, it’s difficult to predict how their names together on the ticket would affect the decisions of democratic voters—men, women, Caucasian, African-American, etc.

How do you feel about situations where you fall short of the ultimate goal, but take the “next best thing”? Is there still a sense of accomplishment, even when you have to adapt your dreams? [Huffington Post]
