Get Mentally Prepared

Get Mentally Prepared

When planning your wedding its easy to get caught up in tangible details like flowers, cakes and veils. Try not to loose sight of the mental preparation that is also key to getting your marriage off to a good start. One good way of doing this is to talk to people who are in relationships that you admire and find out how they’ve made them work. Try to take in their advice before you walk down the aisle.

If you don’t happen to know any relationship sages, you’re in luck. A very wise relationship reporter put together a list of 25 tips on how to stay married for a young friend who was about to tie the knot. Some of the jewels of include; “Never raise your voice unless you're on fire. Whisper when you argue.” And, “Kiss at least 10 seconds a day, all at once or spread out.”

What’s the best relationship advice you’ve received so far? The worst? [Gosanangelo.com]
