Question:How do you deal with a boyfriend who still has photos up of his ex, talks to her weekly, and she still cleans his house? They also shared a dog which we now have and she wants to keep him from time to time..

Answer:

Some times it's hard to let go of first loves. Maybe they were great friends before they were in a relationship and found that they didn't make a great boyfriend/girlfriend couple but have decided to keep their friendship. This is healthy. Communication is the key. Let him know it makes you uneasy seeing her pictures up and that he talks to her all of the time. Ask him if there's anything you should worry about as far as their friendship (relationship) goes. You'll know the answer even if he doesn't voice it. Then make your decision from that point. Not always because someone has pictures up of the ex's does it mean they love you less. Keep an open mind, get to know her maybe you'll actually like her and the two of you will hit it off as friends also. Don't look at her as she was the one before you. Express your confidence in your relationship with your boyfriend show her you're there to stay.

Answer:

You tell him it's her or you. Honestly, there is NO reason to have photos of her up in his home. And why on earth does she clean his place?!? Not healthy. If she wants the dog that bad, give it to her and get your own. Anyone who's dating you should wise up, realize how lucky they are and give you their all. You deserve that much!

Answer:

Depends how long you've been dating. If it's not that long, dump him. I'm a no-bullcrap type of girl, but I would talk to him and let him know that you don't like his ex hanging around. If he does nothing about it, say bye bye.
