"My interview with Ariane was nothing but smooth, professional, and a hell of a lot of fun. Not the usual 20 questions. Highly recommended." -Timothy Ferriss, #1 NY Times bestselling author of The 4-Hour Workweek

Emotional Long Distance

Emotional Long Distance

You know you're in for some rocky times in your relationship when Dear Abby says, "trust me, you have my sympathy." That's exactly the response "Home Alone in West Virginia" got after writing in about her absent mate.

Forty-one-year-old HAIWV writes that her 34-year-old husband has been mysteriously absent from all aspects of their married life lately. Mr. HAIWV jumps out of bed in the morning, scurries off to work and doesn't return from hanging out with his buddies until very late at night and barely lifts a finger to help take care of their children. To top it all off, the couple hasn't been intimate in four months.

"I told him I feel like I'm running a bed-and-breakfast," HAIWV writes. Abby tells her that her man is likely running away from something. Ya, think? It's not just the lack of time that's a cause for frustration. There are plenty of successful couples that live thousands of miles away, yet have perfectly healthy relationships. The problem in the HAIWV household is that they're carrying on an emotional long-distance relationship when they're sleeping right next to each other. If HAIWV has gotten to the point where she's feeling like she only exists to provide room and board, then there is a severe lack of communication and the two of them need to have a serious conversation.

Whether you're in a physical or an emotional long distance relationship, both require maintenance and regular check-ups. If you're feeling an emotional disconnect, perhaps you should plan a reunion in the form of a weekend retreat or even a night out. This will give you a chance to break up your routine and get to the heart of why you're so disconnected from each other.

Have you survived an emotional long-distance relationship? What did you do to get back in the same area code? [Yahoo News]

I made a promise to tell my testimony all over the globe once my man come back to me and my husband came just as DR abaka told me when he helped me. I made the right choice to have contacted DR abaka the great spell caster who is capable of helping you solve your problems. My man left me to suffer and i never believed that he will come back to me again but when i contacted DR abaka he assured me that my man will come again. he gave me some list of items to buy but i could not get them in my country and so i sent him the money and he bought the items and prepared the perfect love spell. My husband ran back to me in 3 days time begging for forgiveness THIS IS SO REAL AND GENUINE. NO SCAMS. I was so surprise that the spell worked just as he told me. This is so amazing and i want you to believe because DR abaka is so real and i urge you contact him now on his email so that he can also help you the way he helped me. email is Drabakaspelltemple@gmail.com and you can also contact him with his phone number on whats app +2349063230051 you can also check and contact him on htpp://Drabakaspelltemple.blogspot.com

I am a married mother of b/g 2 yr old twins my husband and I have grown further and further apart of the past several years. Our relationship was dealt an early blow when he was unfaithful to me before we got married. I decided to try and make it work b/c I thought that I could get over the hurt and resentment. I have found that since then I have closed myself off completely from him and now that I have 2 kids involved I don't know how to even try to make it work.
