Criticism Doesn't Pay

There’s nothing better than someone walking up, taking a quick glance at what you’re doing and laying it on the line.

That really sucks.

Gee, thanks. And by the way, your mother eats lunch for breakfast. If you’re subject to frequent criticism, buy the T-shirt at Gentlepony.com.

Don’t take criticism personally. When someone is being hurtful or just plain rude, try turning it around. Either use what they say to help you become better at what you’re doing, or drop your defenses and empathize. He or she is probably working on issues that have nothing to do with you. Poor thing. And, probably has no filter. Rude, hurtful comments just come flying out without warning. People like that become friendless in no time. So sit back and let justice be served…

…preferably with ice cream.
