Spiritual Reading on Vacation

Sensitive to the fact that its visitors may not be of one religion, one hotel chain is working hard to accommodate your spiritual side.

The Provenance Hotel chain, which owns five boutique hotels across the country, now offers a  providing a “spirituality menu” to its guests, where one can choose to have the Koran, the Bible, the Book of Mormon, the Bhagavad Gita and more to read in the privacy of a hotel room. The chain says that its customers are interested in a customized travel experience, especially if they have forgotten their religious books at home.

The most requested book so far? The Four Noble Truths, the fundamental Buddhist text. Interesting, considering that one hotel is in Nashville, the home of the Gideon Bible. [USA Today]
