Don't Tell it Like It Is

No matter how much of a saint you might purport yourself to be, you probably find it hard to resist telling little white lies to your friends and lovers. “Yes honey, your butt looks fabulous in those jeans” or “Oh yeah, your kid could totally be a in a Gap ad.”

According to a new survey published by Harlequin Enterprises—the folks behind the romance novels—you’re not alone. Out of 2,000 men and women surveyed online, 63% of men and women said that lying in relationships is sometimes acceptable, usually when someone else’s feelings are at stake.

Nearly half of the survey’s respondents reported lying to get out of a date and 61% of men and 50% of women approved of lying about the dreaded “do these jeans make my butt look fat?” question.

After you lie once you will have to keep it up and keep it up. That is too much work. Just tell the truth and suffer the consequences.. LOL.. but at least you told the truth..

Lying is one of the most horrible things people can do to each other. The closer our relationships are to certain people, the more honest we have to be towards them.
The truth may hurt, but lies hurt much, much more.

Lying is a means of control, and i totally don't approve of it.. If i don't look good in an outfit i would hope my SO would be honest and tell me no. If he tells me yes even though i don't then what's that say about the relationship?? It's bogus. people need to stop being so sensitive.
