Remember the saying "Slow and steady wins the race?" Turns out it's true. Slow down at work, with your partner and just in general. You may be surprised at how much sweeter life is when you aren't looking at it at warp speed.

Changeling

Question:Why don't single guys go to singles events?

It's been my experience that every time I go to a singles event there are way more women than men.

Answer:

I think it's because a lot of guys don't want to appear desperate. But, I don't feel that you can make a snap judgement for all singles events, based on your experience with one. Your details about the question has made me more interested in wanting to go to an event! Thank you for your question.

Answer:

I am a male who went to a singles event after a mate suggested it - NEVER again my guess was that half the people at the event had never been near the opposite sex in the last ten years, there were tears SO many desparate lonely people I could not leave quick enough.
