Question:Shoestring budget yet I'd love a new pair of boots

I'm flipping through some mags and they're all advertising really cute clothes for fall. Since I'm on a budget and can't splurge on $1,200 jackets (as much as I would like to!) can anyone recommend stores where good quality knock-offs can be had?

Answer:

The online shop called endless has a nice selection and it's less overwhelming than zappos: Link Randomly, some catalogs like Newport News and Victoria's Secret carry moderately-priced boots.

What's your budget like? I love going to easyspirit and aerosoles for cheaper versions of cute boots (especially since i have large feet) Also try shoe warehouses like DSW and sites like zappos.com

Answer:

Don't overlook Payless for shoes ... they seem to knock off all the latest trends.

And, poke me if I've said this before, there's no shame in picking something up from a thrift store ... especially ones in fancy neighborhoods. You can score designer shoes that someone wore only a few times for next to nothing.
