Trouble Getting Aroused? Check Your Heart

Trouble Getting Aroused? Check Your Heart

Some of the risk factors for a coronary heart disease health diagnosis are obvious, such as obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. However, one recent study in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology shows that erectile dysfunction in men with diabetes (also known as impotence and a wide variety of colorful street names) is another one. Even after researchers adjusted for other risk factors such as age, duration of diabetes and blood pressure medications, erectile dysfunction was still a risk factor for heart disease.

Granted the study has only been conducted on Chinese men, and the results could be different if applied to other ethnicity groups. However, no matter what your background, if the plumbing suddenly stops working, get to a doctor and have a physical checkup.
