Strip Club Gives Free Flu Shots

Strip Club Gives Free Flu Shots

For all those women who wondered how they could get their husbands to take care of their health, here's an idea.

Rachel's Steakhouse, a strip club in Casselberry, FL, offered free flu shots yesterday between 12:00pm and 4:00pm to its patrons who could prove they were 55 or older. Anyone over 65 years old received a free meal with the flu shot! Anyone under 55 could pay $10 to get innoculated.

Reports did not say if a free lap dance was included, or whether the strippers actually administered the shots. But seriously, this is a pretty good idea. It's great that Rachel's Steak House is raising it's patrons' awareness of their health and finding easys way to do so.

This has us wondering...would you be more inclined to get a flu shot if it was someplace you actually liked to visit? [Local6.com]

A free meal, and a flu shot. God Bless America.

Wooooow. That's kind of awesome! Yeah, totally, make it somewhere fun to visit and people will be more likely to do it! I'd like to see flu shots at happy hour, in craft stores and in indie coffee shops. :)

Yeah, this is pretty hilarious, but like CWolf said, I hope the shots were administered by health professionals. Hopefully the strippers were there for "encouragement" and entertainment to take the people's minds of getting a shot!

haha! What a hilarious story. I can see the future of flu shots: "I'd like a vodka on the rocks, and let's go with the left arm this year."

I hope those shots were administered by health professionals with four layers of latex gloves on and a bottle of alcohol was used to swab the patron's arm. I'm just saying...strip clubs aren't known to be sterile.

I wouldn't mind getting a flu shot at a movie theater or a bowling alley or my local bar.
