It seems that researchers are listening to people’s dreams more and more when it comes to handling a health diagnosis. Instead of having to go to the doctor to get your vitals checked, pretty soon your doc might be able to download it no matter where you are.
A group called Ofcom, a United Kingdom-based communications watchdog, predicts that one day humans will have individual “in-body networks” that could allow the medical community to do exactly that. Though they say it's about two decades away, doctors say it's a real possibility.
Though this could pose as a huge headache for emergency rooms that could be plagued with false alarms, it’s pretty amazing how far we’ve come from discovering penicillin in 1928.
