Coping with Infertility

When you’re coping with infertility, it can seem like there are babies just about wherever you look. It’s normal to feel a huge sense of loss and sadness when you learn that you may not be able to conceive as easily as you had hoped or your friends have. However there are several important things to keep in mind right now. First, don’t blame yourself. All that negative talk (“I should not have waited this long, had that abortion, lost more weight, etc.”) doesn’t help, instead it works to make you feel more depressed and discouraged. Next, it’s important to educate yourself as much as possible and work together with your partner as a team. Keep reading at BabyCenter for more important tips from therapists on how to cope with infertility.
