"Ever since I subscribed to your site the daily reminders are the only thing I read apart from email and the NY Times headlines and weather. I am hugely critical of most self-help information, but this is not what your site is. I save 1 in 2 of these and have kept a library folder. They are intelligent, concise, relevant and are pitched at exactly the right level." -Martin Chalk, CEO, Balance Water

Breast Cancer: Where to Start

You’ve just received word, the biopsy is positive and it’s definitely breast cancer. So here’s the good news! Breast cancer is rarely fatal anymore; in fact, doctors tend to look at it more as a chronic illness that requires treatment. So the first thing to get cracking on is your treatment team. It might be helpful to meet with several different specialists/ oncologists to find people you feel comfortable with. These include a radiologist who specializes in cancer, a surgical oncologist and perhaps even a plastic surgeon if your treatment requires a mastectomy. Read on at Revolution Health for more ideas of how to get your treatment started.
