Windows...7?

Windows...7?

Evolution of the dinosaurs took millions of years. Evolution of Windows operating systems in about 12 years: Windows 95 morphed and eventually became Windows 98, 2000 and Millennium Edition and then XP turned to Vista. Hold on to your seat, here we go again.

Should you pack up your Vista system and move on? Not any time soon, but Bill Gates has dropped hints that Windows 7 will be on the way. When? It’s hard to say because unlike Apple’s minute declarations about Mac computers, Microsoft makes announcements much earlier about what’s coming up. With a drop date of sometime in 2010, it could be held off even later, as Microsoft has done in the past.

So contain your worries and keep on perfecting your Vista skills because you’ve got a ways to go. [BBC]
