Getting Paid to Socialize

Marketing techniques are getting smarter and smarter! A new Facebook application was recently launched that allows members to essentially add a store to their page and then collect revenue off of what sells off their page. The program is called Market Lodge and it believes that members will be more likely to brag about new products and goods to their friends if they know they will make money off of it. Facebook won’t be making a profit off of this application, but depending how it goes, that may be changed.

The AP reports that members can turn off the Beacon service and use this if they like the idea of selling products and spreading the word to their friends.

How do you feel about adding products to your Facebook page?
