Here Comes the Ogre

Here Comes the Ogre

Would you ever, in a million bajillion years, let Shrek walk you down the aisle? Well, one British woman not only asked her father to dress up as the world´s most lovable ogre, but she dressed up as Cinderella and her groom as Prince Charming. Her entire wedding party, along with most of the guests, appeared to have bought out a giant costume shop. In attendance were Ali G, Zorro, a nun and you know, some Roman gladiators.

"We just thought it would be fun and it turned out really well. The outfits were just amazing," the bride, Sam Carpenter says to The Sun.

As if the unusual ceremony wasn't enough fun, the groom also dressed up as Evel Knievel and drove his new wife to the reception on a motorcycle.

In addition to creating the world's most confusing wedding album, the couple turned their wedding into a charity event and raised about $800 for a local children's hospital.

What are your thoughts on theme weddings? Do you think its more memorable to have a cake in the shape of a millenium falcon, or bridemaids dressed up as geisha girls? Or would you rather have the attention focused on you and your new mate? [The Sun]
