Living With Heart Disease
One of the biggest questions heart disease patients have after the first 30 days is what they can expect their life to look like in the coming months and years. Those who’ve been through it say it is never about reaching a finishing point; it is about embracing every day as it comes.
Both experts and survivors say that there are positive things that come from having had a heart attack. One is being much more in tune with your body. Perhaps the greatest benefit is the inner strength that heart disease reveals, along with the spirit that encourages survivors to inspire others—Bob is now an American Heart Association volunteer and continue to heal by sharing his story.
