Question:do people really change or do they just say they have to make everything seem better?

my husband keeps telling me he has changed but he doesnt show it. I need to see it to belive it.

Answer:

Only GOD has the power to change people. And it
takes a truly repentant heart for one to reach GOD.
Beware of people who talk the talk but don't walk the
talk. Talk is cheap sometimes. That is why action
speaks louder than words.

Hi, I feel for you deeply. I have been there and in some content still currently there. I was given some advice that never listen to the words. You need to watch his actions because they can't usually deceive through their actions. It is the hardest thing because your heart wants it to be different, but I encourage you to keep a journal and re-read what you have written. It will give you some prospective. I am an occupational therapist and have rarely seem people fundamentally change. I don't believe that it is impossible, but it takes more than most have. I wish you all that I have and guard your heart.
