How to Go Green—In Black and White

The US Green Building Council not only lists some great ways to lower your energy usage, but it tallies up the savings for you, too.

Then there are the green products you can buy, the green gardening you can do and the green ways to get around town.

With so many choices, you'll be tickled pink.

What are you doing these days in support of the going green movement?

I just painted my bedroom and am about to paint my living room with a no VOC paint called FreshAire. VOCs (volatile organic compounds)deplete the ozone and reduce the quality of indoor air.

I found it at Home Depot, though I'm sure there are other brands at other outlets as well. Look for the paint to be labeled with the GreenGuard seal—that way, you can be confident that it won't pollute your indoor air with harmful chemicals.
