Answer:

I also pay my bills via on line banking. Then I view my spending trends at Mint.com, a free service. Or you can software like Quicken to track your spending.

While I know it's not always possible, I try to pay them as soon as the bill comes. That way, I know I can't forget.

have you tried an online bill payment service? or setting them all up for automatic draft? If you're weary of that, how about getting a big dry erase calendar or try Google Calendar and post when all bills are due a week before they're due so you pay them on time. I put mine on Google calendar and set the reminder to a week before hand.
