Question:When do you tell the kids?

Answer:

I told my daughter right away. Even though she is only 4, I felt it was the right thing to do since she was asking about her dad after only 2 days... where is he, why isn't he coming home, when is he coming back, etc. I didn't feel like it was fair to her to lie about it especially since she witnessed the last fight that sealed the deal.
