One tips is that you should bank the money you would have been paying in gas for your car if the price were still over $4. That could be a hefty chunk of change. The other great tip is to hold on to all your receipts, because if the item you purchased goes on sale within 2 weeks of your purchase, often the store will credit you the difference.

True the idea of banking the difference in fuel price, I have been banking a percentage since the dramatic price drop
