Coins in a jar

angie805

My husband and I empty all of our change into a jar at the end of each day (or you can do each week). When the jar is full, I head down to Commerce's Penny Arcade and cash it all in. You would be surprised how much in change you can save up in a short amount of time. Sometimes we put it in a savings account, or I have used the money to pay my cell phone bill. Hey, every little bit helps!

you know whats a good idea too. If you have a dollar u put it in a jar and save up for a month or so, i saved up 100.00 in a month.

We do the same thing, and use the money we save for a nice night out or put it in the savings account. It's also nice to know that we have a little bit of cash around in case we have to run to the laundromat! Thanks Angie!
