Rabbi Bob Eisen of the Congregation Anshei Israel in Tucson, AZ is one of several Rabbis nationwide who have purchased $150 memberships in bulk to the Jewish dating website, JDate.com, to distribute among their single congregation.

Eisen, along with rabbis in New Jersey and Oregon, hopes the memberships will enable their congregants to meet mates with similar religious values. The site has 600,000 members worldwide and claims more than 20,000 happy couples have connected through their online profiles.

Even if you don’t consider yourself to be extremely religious, belief-based websites are a great way to meet someone who shares similar values and cultural experiences.
