Cleaning with citrus

wishuponastar

I like the news update about using lemons and other citrus fruits mixed with vinegar or baking soda to clean. Vinegar can also be used to clean windows. We used to clean the windows with vinegar and newspaper and I remember thinking they really shined nicely after that.

Hi All, Personally, I Love useing lemons, especially when washing a lot of dishes, a lemon cuts thru all and any greasey pots and pans in no time and makes them squeaky clean, not to mention how your dishes will shine as well and your kitchen will have the aroma of a lemon summer rain.

That is cool. Do I mix with water afterwards and do I need to do this kind of washing by hand? What items can I clean with citrus? Whites and colors?
Thanks.
