That Youthful, Male Glow

Remember when the term “metrosexual” was offensive to even the most masculine of men? It turns out the times have changed and more and more guys are interested in creating a new image by turning to spas and cosmetic companies to look and feel young. According to a Men’s Health magazine poll, one third of men in the 18 to 59 age range said using anti-aging products is very or extremely acceptable.

Of course, the cosmetic industry is thrilled by the news that a new market has opened up and companies have creatied new lines of anti-aging products with the modern male in mind. L’Oreal, Nivea, Neutrogina and Zirh are all coming out with wrinkle fighting creams, moisturizers, cleansers and gels, and spas like the Grooming Lounge are following the trend as well with treatments designed for youth-conscious men.

So get a good look at Sean Connery and Jack Nicholson…because it may be a long time before we see guys looking like that in their later years. [USA Today]
