Inside Out

Inside Out

There are ways to let go of what you've been taught and bring your best self forward. Don't believe us? Just look at all the makeover shows out there!

Seriously, though...if you've been visiting us for any amount of time, you know that we believe that there are things that hold us back from making sincere and lasting change. That includes changes that might seem "frivolous" like changing your look! But it's not all about new clothes or a haircut. Transforming the way you present yourself is really about choosing to believe that you deserve to look and feel your best.

Ariane recently shared her thoughts on transformation with Teri Hausman on the Beauty Now podcast. During their chat, they spoke about everything from what happens when we are forced to change to how to let go of the fears surrounding change. Beauty, she says, isn't about what's on the outside. Changing your look  "is beauty from the inside out. It’s about aligning yourself on the inside with your outer world.  It’s about radiating who you are. It’s about not connecting into the fear, the blame. It’s about showing optimism. It’s about knowing when you are connected to other people."

Is this how you feel about the way you look? Take a listen to the rest of the podcast and then let us know what changes you'd like to make.

I remember reading something about Norma Kamali when she started her beauty care line. This was some time ago, but she focused on skin cleansing and care products rather than make up products because of her feeling that beauty came from the inside and what was really important was to let the inner beauty show with products that promoted healthy skin.
