Learn Something New

Have you always wanted to learn how to speak Portuguese? Play the cello? Make dog sweaters? Well, guess what? The [insert hobby here] guy isn’t just going to ring your doorbell one of these days, invite himself in and offer to teach you.

What are you waiting for? Get up off your bunda (that’s Brazilian Portuguese for tush—but you’d know that if you had taken a class) and do something about it. Make some phone calls. Get on the internet and research classes in your area. If you’d rather teach yourself, go to the library and take out some books. Or, find a friend who’s an expert and offer to trade time teaching. You know, I’ll teach you this if you teach me that.

Oh, c’mon, there must be something you’re good at.
