Plan Meals in Advance

lindad14

The last thing you're going to feel like doing when you get home with your new baby is cook. A friend recommended that I prepare some meals in advance and freeze them. Nothing fancy, just dishes like lasagna, chili, meatloaf, etc. Foods that can easily be frozen and then defrosted. You can get some great freezer recipes at Link. And don't be afraid to ask for help in the kitchen, too. When I got home from the hospital, my mom made us dinner one week, and my mother-in-law took the next. It gave me time to recover and focus on the baby.
