Question:What should the Obamas name their new dog?

Although they haven't chosen a breed yet, people are speculating what the girls will name their puppy. MSN conducted a poll, and some of the top choices include:

1. Hope
2. Lucky
3. Change
4. Sarah (as in Palin)
5. George (as in Bush)
6. Maverick (as in McCain)
7. Snoopy
8. Buddy
9. Champ
10. Dog (what?)

In my family, we always give our pets "people" names (like Max and Sam), but I'm wondering if anyone has any creative suggestions?

Answer:

I hope they really let the girls name the dog themselves and they don't bring in some kind of P.R. team. I bet whatever they come up with will be adorable, even if its something like Barky or Scruffy.

Answer:

They should name it something totally random, like Christopher Walken or Mr. Thurston Weatherbottom III. That will have the press talking for years. They've already devoted this much coverage to it and they haven't even picked a dog yet.
