Question:Where would I begin to explore becoming a foster parent?

Asked by wishuponastar on 4/22/08 1 Answer»

Hello Wish,

There are some wonderful foster agencies in each and every state. My husband and I began fostering almost 3 years ago and it is a truly rewarding experience!

One of the first places to start is with the Department of Human Services in your area. They can direct you to agencies (county agencies are different than private ones).

I would be more than willing to talk more with you about it. Just email me at judysocialwork@hotmail.com
