Soleine

Question:Do you find yourself wondering ... I know what I want to do.. I have a clear vision and something of a plan, so why am I not 'DOING IT?" ...

Sometimes, I feel 'frozen' even when I have what I think is a clear road map to where i want to go... what I want to do. ?

Answer:

Freeze the moment that you feel your are stuck in. Stay focused and take a picture of your dream. hang it somewhere you can see it every day. Write down what it is that is stopping you from moving on. Then rip it up in a million pieces and tell yourself that what you just wrote will not become an obstacle. You will have your dream and go for a walk and clear your mind of all negative thoughts. Good Wishes.

Answer:

Dear Soleine,

YES! Every 'dreamer' will run into these feelings. When realizing our dreams, there are a few things that are important: define a clear goal, break this into achievable little steps, and celebrate your success along the way. The most important thing, however, is to get support. Find a group of kindred spirits to cheer you on. Get together at regular times to discuss eachothers progress. Brain-storm about the things that you can do and the people that you know that can help you to get closer to your goal. Setting and discussing your weekly goals in light of your big dream will make your dream feel realistic and attainable. Your group-meetings will give you a sense of commitment, plus they will motivate you during times when things get a little rough. And that is what you need to get moving and to keep moving. The world needs your dreams, so go for it!
