Profiles of Change: Kute Blackson

Would you please tell us about The Love. Now Challenge?
Growing up on four different continents, and seeing the reality that people from diverse walks of life live daily has deeply touched my heart. Whether it be the poorest slums in India, the forgotten villages in Africa. I have been touched by the rawness of life and what it means to be human. On the surface we may seem different but at the core we are all the same. We are ONE.

Everyone wants to be loved, and to love. It is the universal language. Each time I encounter another human being I am humbled and reminded of the vulnerability within us all. We are all such delicate and beautiful creatures, with the same hopes, fears, wants, concerns, and dreams.

How would you describe the challenge?
Oh, it’s very simple. For a full 24 hours, I invite you to love fully. During this one day my invitation to you, is to feel and express the love in your heart, without holding back. Whether, as kindness to a loved one or stranger, whether it comes through your passionate love making with your beloved. Or communicating authentically with those in your life. At some point during the 24 hours, you commit to sharing with at least one person the words “I love you,” with total heartfelt sincerity.

Live these 24 hours like they were your last, so that by the end, there is nothing left ungiven. If at any moment you feel as though you have stopped loving fully, simply start the 24 hour challenge, again. Once you have completed a full 24 hours, then repeat the challenge, and so forth.

It is easy to love when you feel like it, or are in the mood. But what about when you are not? It is easy to love those that you like, but what about those that most challenge you, or don’t fit your taste? It is easy to love when you are getting what you want but what about when you aren’t? Or when you are in traffic, hungry, sick, broke, upset, in pain, or busy?

About Kute Blackson

Kute Blackson is utterly unique in the world of human potential. Unlike those who promise to simply help people “get” what they want, his life work instead reveals to people what they have to give, by liberating who they are most truly and deeply.

Kute’s own background and experience lays out the blueprint for his approach to liberating others, setting their gifts and greatness free. Born in Ghana, West Africa, his multicultural upbringing as the child of a Japanese mother and Ghanaian father, raised in London, and on 4 different continents defies all stereotype. He is a next generation world leader out to awaken millions to Love and to Living their inspired destiny.

He’s also personally lived out the reality of challenging the expectations of others. The son of a revered spiritual leader, Kute was speaking to his father’s congregations, in more than 300 churches, by the age of 8. At the age of 14, he was ordained into his father’s ministry and groomed to carry on the family’s spiritual legacy. But his hearts-truth drew him to separate from his father’s ministry and come to Los Angeles in 1995.

Kute courageously and daringly, sought out many of the motivational and spiritual icons who inspired him while still a boy, and he was quickly recruited to market their seminars and public speaking venues. Kute quickly learned to take an outside-in approach and make it an inside-out approach, which is about liberating the individual in order to give what and who they truly are. This is what he calls “Liberated Living.”

According to Kute, once freed of the conditioned responses scripted by family, society, institutions and the media, people are no longer limited to pre-programmed interactions in the course of living. In fact, life becomes a bold adventure, an expansive, jazzy improvisation, which is what he calls “Freefall.”

As founder of The Blackson Group, he uses a variety of modalities to help people break out of old patterns and to live lives beyond ones wildest dreams, including through the high frequency messages in his newly released Love Now CD, as well as his Transformational Coaching programs, and seminars. Whether one on one, in a corporate presentation, on a radical journey in India, or a vast stadium setting, Kute Blackson is a bold voice for a new generation.
