Unclaimed Stimulus Checks?

With all the talk a few months ago about economic stimulus checks—how much, for whom, was it a good idea—about 5 million people who don't normally file their tax returns have yet to file for their stimulus payments. Hello? Is the idea of doing your taxes so challenging that you're willing to pass up free money?

As we all know, one of the only requirements for getting the stimulus check was that we had to file. But, for those who don't normally do so, the task may have seemed a little daunting, according to the experts. In an effort to help these people get their free money, the IRS plans to send out a revised packet that includes instructions written in actual English as opposed to IRS-speak as well as all the necessary forms to fill out.
