Let's Talk About Sex

Some people’s dream jobs include being a philanthropist, a business owner or a movie director. Victoria Zdrok dream job is providing sex tips for the uninformed.

As the sex advice columnist for Penthouse magazine, “Dr. Z,” as she is known, has an all-American success story. She moved here from the Ukraine during the glasnost and got her joint Ph.d. in psychology and law at Villanova University. While earning her degree, she was approached by Playboy to pose in the magazine, and though she got a lot of attention she dutifully returned to her studies. Once she finished her degree, she tried working in a law office but she realized she was “more of a healer than a fighter.”

She started her own web site where she would help her readers flesh out the psychology behind their fantasies and improve their sex lives. She eventually was approached by Penthouse to write an advice column. “I thought I could reach more people through writing,” she tells the New York Post. “My column doesn't aim to arouse. It's meant to educate.” [New York Post]
