Using DNA compatability to find love??
I just read about this site called ScientificMatch.com, which claims it will use a saliva sample to match you to your soul mate. IS THIS FOR REAL? Has anyone tried this? Would you try this?
Huh. Sounds like it beats the bar scene (not that I would know anything about that)...then again, I'm not sure I'd want to date someone who sent in their saliva, even if I did the same. Is that a double standard? Haha...
How funny! Sounds like a real longshot to me : ) What exactly are they matching? I can't see how someone just like me could be my soulmate... we'd probably drive each other nuts.
That's gross. I don't know how I feel about sending samples of my saliva through the USPS to find my mate. Something about swapping spit...before swapping spit...takes the excitement out of finding love.
Hmmm...this seems pretty thin. They seem to have done their homework on pheremone research, but honestly, I don't know that this would be better than other matching services. Also, you can't use it if you're on the pill (apparently women on birth control attract a different kind of man than what they'd biologically seek out.) On the plus side, they seem to do very thorough background checks. I think I'll stick with more traditional dating methods, though!
