Endless Love

Perhaps you are considering adoption, or maybe you are already raising an adopted child. Even if you aren’t in either category, you can’t help but be moved—and possibly motivated— by Judy McAtee. She and her husband Patrick have two biological children and have adopted 10 more, in addition to taking in 30 additional foster children over the years. Most of Judy’s children have been adopted internationally—her children come from Peru, Nepal and parts in between.

If you thought you were busy with your brood, adopted or otherwise, think again. Judy isn’t just raising kids, she’s raising dogs as a breeder, and raising awareness through volunteer work. Whew! That makes simply adopting one child sound easy. Judy was recently honored by CVS Pharmacy in its “All the Ways You Care” contest, but we know that for most families who choose adoption, the best gift is a smile from your kids at the end of the day.
