Question:When is the optimal time to meditate?

I'm just curious if others have found a specific time of day better for meditation. I've only tried in the morning when I first wake up and then right before bed. It's a toss up really. I find that when I meditate in the morning, I'm in a better mood at work because I've had time to compose my emotions and thoughts instead of just being rushed around. But, if I meditate at night, I sleep better and seem to find it easier to wake up in the morning. Perhaps I should do both?
