Question:what if the husband says he will not pay no matter what anyone says

my husband says that he will not be paying me suport because i dont deserve it. we have been married for 22 years. we have one minor daughter. i was a stay at home mom for 20 years. i have been in the work field for 4 years. he will be living in a million dollar home and i will be in a 200,000 home. he thinks that that is fair. he makes close 100,000 i am lucky if i make 20,000. please tell me he is wrong.

The first thing you need to do is find a good lawyer. Ask around and find out one that is willing to fight. I was once told with my divorce that if I had to eat only catchup for a month to afford him then that is what I needed to do. And they were right. He has to help support his daughter and I do think you are entitled part of his retirement and support. You need to check the divorce laws in your area and check with a lawyer. Of course, he does not have to pay you anything until you file for divorce. Good luck and I understand what you are going through.
