Well, here goes my story. I’m only 17 years of age, in Highschool, and I have already gotten Depression. This will be my 3rd year. I’m not really THAT depressed, but I’m still depressed. And it’s not as simple as you may think it is – I hear like mumbling sounds inside my head. It may seem weird, but that’s what occurs daily.

It used to be extremely loud and irritating in the beginning when I was first diagnosed, but now it’s pretty low. But sadly, I can still hear it. I started out by making one friend on my first day of Highschool, because I stirred up the courage to ask her where “Gym 1″ was. She gladly told me, and I saw her again at the end of the day at the bus stop. Although, it’s not like I don’t have any friends, because I have at least 10-18, but I don’t seem to be happy about it. I mean, I have like 1-2 close friends, but I don’t have a BEST friend that I can go to places with all the time, you know? Also, my grades in school aren’t too high either. It’s around an 80. And I need an 82 to get into the college of my choice. My state test is enough to get in, though. Anyhow, I’m planning to boost my grades up and to make A LOT MORE friends this year. Does anyone want to help me out by giving me some useful tips on making more friends so I can get past this stage in my life, my depression? That would be great – Thank You very much.

  • Your words tug on my heart..Firstly try and figure you why you depressed? Is it present or past home life..
you seem lonely or just painfully shy ?
Try to engage in something your interested in..Activity/Hobby…Joining in on that will bring new people into your life-that can perhaps become a stable secured friend..
How about your siblings? Can they be of support to you?
You seem to be grounded and a smart girl. Pay close attention to your heart and what it wants..
Hope to you hear from you – Wish you comfort and supportive peers…Its the best years of your-life!! Enjoy and remember to smile and laugh all the time !!!!
