It's OK to switch caregivers

Kiki76

Even if you've been with a doctor for a long time, your treatment is the most important thing. If you don't think you're getting the best care from a long-time physician, it's OK to ask for a second opinion or let them know what it is that you need in order to stay with them. If the problem can't be solved, you can look for someone else. It's important to get the best care when faced with a health diagnosis.

I have no problem changing doctors if I'm not happy with the care. Maybe it's rude but my health is too important to worry about hurting a doctor's feelings because I didn't feel he/she was providing me the best care!
