Vista Team Members Say Good-bye

All good things come to an end. After a long career, the time comes to pack up, move on or retire. It’s totally normal and a part of life.

So why are analysts saying that Microsoft executives that worked closely with the development of Vista are quitting because Vista hasn’t won over everyone just yet? But hey, you love your Vista operating system!

A Microsoft representative says this loss isn’t a “brain drain”—the moving of highly trained individuals to a new location due to conflict at their previous jobs. Every day, people leave their jobs by choice, lose their jobs, get a new job or even go back to school! But folks like to gossip and point fingers, and this time Vista is taking the blame.

Regardless of their opinion concerning the departing execs, analysts agree that Vista’s image needs an upgrade so that the next Windows creation will be better received. Vista fan: is that even possible? [Computerworld]
