Vista Problem Solver Ready

The switch to Windows Vista has its ups and downs. Today marks a big up—the release of Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP-1, for short). Though this release is more for tech-heads than anyone else (since it’s a little complicated), it will solve many problems baffling new users.

There’s some speculation on when it will be available at retail. Amazon reported over the weekend that the shipments will begin on March 19th, but that’s not actually the case. You can pre-order a Vista package that includes the SP-1 upgrade.

We’ll let you know when it is available. Meanwhile, relax and read our Vista feature to refresh your memory on how to get throughout without throwing your computer out the window. [ZDNet]
